Get a deep understanding about how SSI benefits affect you

It can be extremely troubling for Texas residents when they don't know how they are going to make ends meet. They may not know how they are going to pay for basic living necessitates, let alone extras. However, this is reality for many people who are living with disabilities. Residents who are severely disabled may be unable to work, and, therefore, unable to provide for their basic needs. Additionally, the nature of the person's disability may actually increase the person's everyday expenses, medical requirements and need for expensive therapies.

Thankfully, federal benefits may be available for people in this situation. When disabled individuals have limited resources, Supplemental Security Income (SSI) may be available. SSI benefits can help to provide the income that people need to live. However, there are strict income and disability requirements that must be met in order for people to actually receive these benefits.

The Social Security Administration (SSA) often denies initial applications for SSI benefits. If even the smallest mistake is made, the SSA does not need to approve a claim.

In order to help people get the benefits they need and deserve, our law firm has been working hard for Texas residents for more than 20 years. Our firm understands the requirements for SSI and whether or not a person is a good candidate for benefits. We have helped people understand whether or not these benefits are worth pursuing, or if Social Security Disability Insurance would be a better choice.

Additionally, we have experience helping people understand the process. We have gathered evidence, submitted paperwork, and asked for appeals. Our compassionate attorney knows how much these benefits mean to disabled people and has relentlessly sought benefits on their behalf. For more information, please see our SSI webpage.
